Mission: El Desierto focuses on the themes of migration in relation to space tourism, ecology and geographic memory under the guise of a fictional essay set in the future.

Emilia is a 12-year-old girl who believes she is from another planet. During the search for her lost cat, she will fight to return to where she belongs.

Valentina is a Russian cosmonaut who is summoned by the Cuban Space Confederation to an agricultural expedition to Mars through a letter that arrives 30 years late. Without noticing the date on the letter, she arrives in the textile village of Ariguanabo, Cuba with the illusion of fulfilling her dream of returning to space for the last time.

The Feels – Or The Debilitated Condition of the Reproductive System

In a near-future world where engineered emotions have replaced real experience, a corporation sells “feels” distilled from social media memories. When a partner deletes their online past, a memory technician finds their relationship suddenly incompatible, as if it never existed. But as demand outpaces supply, the company begins harvesting the memories of its own workers, forcing them to confront a world where the more you feel, the less it’s yours.
