About the event
Join us for a virtual discussion about Mexican American teachers and Mexican American educational achievement between the 1920s and 1940s. What were the learning conditions for Mexican American teachers and students? How did they contest inequity in education? This virtual talk will feature education historians Gonzalo Guzmán, Philis M. Barragán Goetz, and Laura K. Muñoz.
Our virtual MACRI Talk will stream live on Tuesday, July 1st, 2025, at 6 PM Central on Facebook at https://bit.ly/FB-MACRI and YouTube at https://bit.ly/YT-MACRI.
